The Beast Within 3

Blind Trust, neo-idolatry, and self-appointed judges of the nations.

2 Thessalonians 2:10-11
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Deathocracy, another word for democracy, is not only the institutional self-destruction of a nation, but is also when the nation thinks it likes it. Deathocracy is not only when the nation likes it, but it also thinks that it will somehow save the nation that they worked so hard to burn down. That is part of the strong delusion mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:11. The promise goes on to say they will believe a lie and asserts that their damnation is from pleasuring in unrighteousness.

As harsh as 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 may seem, in verses 3 & 4, Paul warns that no one be deceived by any man, and that “a” man will sit in the temple as God and be worshipped as God.

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Skipping to chapter 13 of Revelation, the author speaks of a “man” who is worshipped and whose number is 666. From 2 Thessalonians 2 to the book of Revelation, the writings in the scripture clearly describe a time of moral decline and God’s judgment. Unless dramatized for shock effect and hooky eschatology, the book of Revelation is the revelation of the same “man of sin” mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2. But, because of the Flash & Flair Prosperity Preaching, End Times Lunatics, and Christo-Zio-cult jargon, the point is not lost in translation but burned away in utter chaos (strong delusion).

This, however, is not the work of an angry God, but the result of a godless society that believes it is a god and ignores the warnings of God. What warnings are being ignored? The answer to that is easy, and it is in the scripture in this article…” Let no man deceive you by no means:”. Another crystal-clear warning is in Revelation 13:4;

“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?”

One interpretation of that scripture is that blind trust is worship. Blind trust in any man, no matter what, is unrighteousness according to the scripture, because it is the worship of a false savior. Although they may not be the proverbial “beast”, however, the point is that it leads to what Revelation is talking about, and that is the beast system.

The book of Revelation is about a “condition” caused by the rejection of God to seek a false savior, which is men, and of men. The period of the New Testament is also the time of the Roman Emperors, which was an increasingly cruel time, especially to Christians. At this time, Emperors were worshipped, and in many parts of their control were considered saviors. Some cults worshipped the emperors, and some emperors demanded to be worshipped. After all, Jesus was crucified by the Romans, and the 2nd Temple was sacked by them as well.

The prophecies and warnings of the coming man of sin were not thought up by the martyrs who wrote them but were derived from the scriptures they had been reading all along, AND because of what was happening then. The pattern of man’s nature, which is what the beast within is, is clearly explained “to us” and “for us” starting in and throughout the book of Genesis. But when men allow themselves to be deceived, they become like the deceivers, and lovers of unrighteousness.

In a time of deception and judgment, or delusion, one of the things many get confused about is what “blind trust” and “worship” really is. Simply put, anything put as a savior before God is what you worship. An example of blind trust is not questioning your government because of who is in charge of it, particularly when it funds a foreign country’s existence unconditionally. This is either the worship of that country, that country’s ideals, or the ones who have the authority or vote to send the unchecked “aid”. Of course, this would be destructive in the case of any foreign country, but especially for one engaged in prolonged and unnecessary asymmetric warfare.

Something that is notable in Revelation 13:4 is that whoever the “beast” was could decimate any who challenged him. This “beast” who was given power by the dragon was worshipped by and large because of the military might at his disposal. It was he who at that time was considered the judge of nations and imposed his wrath on those who were deemed deserving of it, and no one had the ability to oppose.

The parallel between the beast in revelation and the beast now is the same parallel as the history of the period and now. That rings true when it comes to the delusion the United States is under and American worship and adoration of military power. Just as in the days of Caligula and Nero, the saving grace of the United States is anything other than adherence to the Word of God and returning to a Christ centered theonomy.

As we’ve learned in recent years, neither a growing debt nor increasing disorder will remind the deceived neocons and their leftist counterparts that there is still such a thing as good and evil. Like Matthew 24:12 says, “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold”, and the truer it gets in these days, the truer it will be tomorrow. These things are very beastly in nature, but it’s reversible. One thing to start noticing is that the beginning of the Bible, Genesis 1:28, tells us to subdue the earth and the beasts within it, while the end of the Bible, Revelation 13, warns us not to be subdued by the earth and the beast.

Who is the “beast”? An entire industry was created on the “who” and “when”, but the Bible is telling us “WHY”. The “WHY” is the part the devil wants us to miss (strong delusion). Why do you think they call him the great deceiver? There is a reason he is noted as “deceiving nations”. Part of that deception is not seeing what society becomes when iniquity abounds and man is worshipped as a savior.

Matthew 25:32

And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

Pride is another major component of manifesting the beast system illustrated throughout the scriptures.  Eschatology, a form of arrogant-based predictionism, is a large part of why many Christians believe they are worthy to judge nations through the form of Islamophobia and Russophobia, both of which were brought about en masse through reckless preaching and 24-hour media. However qualified they may think they are, they do not differ much from those in Rome and Asia Minor who worshipped Caligula and Vespasian. The Roman emperors at that time were considered the judges of nations because they represented those who thought they were qualified to judge nations.

In the years leading up to the fall of Jerusalem, the people did not know that while judging other nations, their own had fallen long ago. If only they had looked into the hen house…they could’ve stopped the wolf before he devoured all they had.

The choice is yours.
