The Beast Within

Democracy, Western Hegemony, & Capitalism’s volunteer live samples

Acts 12
1 Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.

2 And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.

3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also.

It has been a long-standing belief in the United States that two things are what “we” stand for and need to defend: Democracy and Western Hegemony. It seems to be the prevailing opinion that, above all, everything we hold dear lies in our ability to dominate the world, which is exactly what God warns us about in the Bible. This isn’t to say that God commands us to be weak, but to rely on Him, not men, military might, opulence, or global domination.

When Herod arrested Peter, it was an act of democracy. In verse three, it says that “he saw it pleased the Jews,” which is to say that he had a “consensus” to arrest Peter. This behavior is known as “governance by majority opinion”. Herod, instead of considering what was right, displayed a demonic culture known as culture coddling, which is common in a degenerated society known as a democracy, a condition of society where what is right always takes a back seat to what is “wanted”.

But that is not the first time we saw this deathocratic behavior of governance by opinion in the Bible. In 1 Kings 11, which starts with “But king Solomon loved many strange women”, it gives a clear depiction of King Solomon’s propensity to be democratic by using resources to build “high places” for false gods and abominations, one of which was Molech. We can see in verses 6-8 when Solomon allowed his heart to go off the rails and away from God:

6 And Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord, and went not fully after the Lord, as did David his father.

7 Then did Solomon build a high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.

8 And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.

The above verses are a story of a king leading a nation to sin and judgment. In Matthew 27, we see the crowd having their opinion formed by the “chief priests” and demanding that Christ be crucified.

20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.

21 The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.

22 Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.

23 And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.

It is unknown how many of the people who cried out to Pilate for Christ to be crucified had been witnesses to Christ’s ministry, but it’s hard to believe that none of them changed their mind in that moment because of the persuasions of the mob.

The point is that not only is democracy a delusional form of government, but it is also one that requires the populace to be subjects to tyrants. Not only does the populace need to be subject to the tyrants, they also need to forget, or deny, that they CAUSED the tyrants. That is where the term “subjects make tyrants, not the other way around” comes from; it means that;

  1. A population of subjects is what manifests the tyrants
  2. Lack of understanding (not informed) makes you a subject
  3. By being the subject (uninformed), you are the tyrant, and the reason the tyrant rules over you.

In the case of Christ being condemned by the mob, it’s important to understand that the arbiters of His conviction stood on the fact that they believed the “Messiah” was to deliver them from their oppressors [the Romans]. It is, after all, the pattern that they’d become accustomed to throughout their history. But like Jesus said in John 8:19, …“You do not know me or my Father,”… “If you knew me, you would know my Father also.”, which translates to “you are entitled, uninformed, and chasing a false messiah”.

Going back to the first paragraph, the only appropriate question is, is the population of the United States chasing a false messiah? The honest answer to that would have to be a resounding YES unless of course your research is through the lens of intellectual laziness and lack of understanding. To deny that the United States as a collective is after a false Christ would require:

  1. Subjugation to a false doctrine that teaches a false messiah
  2. Theological cherry picking and false doctrine strongholds
  3. Inability to discern demonic behaviors, self-destructive decisions, and corrupted government oversight

John 2:15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables.

To properly analyze this topic, it is important to understand that Messiah and Christ ultimately mean Savior. Therefore, if society considers anything other than the real Savior as a savior, then they are chasing a false savior. In the case of the modern United States, two of the false saviors are “democracy” and “Western Hegemony”. And of course, to protect Western democratic hegemony, or the self-proclaimed “free world”, there needs to be a large military. And guess what the military requires to exist…debt, and banks…oh wait, we call that “capitalism”, the other savior.

I’ll feel my ears burning about how much of a communist you may think I am for likening the big military and capitalism to the “Beast” of revelation prophecy, but before you go all out with the demonic behavior of baseless accusing, make sure you are one of the 1% that practices capitalism, and not the 98.5% that is a subject of it, or a volunteer live sample.

The word “capitalism” has a definition loosely similar to free enterprise, but it’s just a focus on “capital”. In other words, profits over everything else, including people. On the surface, it doesn’t seem that capitalism is anti-Christ, but since it is anti-person when worshipped, it is antichrist. The question now does America worship Western-democratic-hegemonic-capitalism in the place of the true Messiah, or Christ? To answer that question, we should ask if, as a normative, do Americans believe that maintaining global hegemony and our “western principles” will save us? If the answer is “yes” to the latter, then it is “yes” to the former.

Is the answer “yes”? Many would argue it is not. However, our enemies are decided upon those 3 things: whether they are “democratic”, “western” or western supporting, or capitalist. This is indisputable.

Domestic division based on these things is also indisputable. Americans proudly sport Ukrainian and Israelis flags while aggressively accusing real patriots of being antidemocratic, antisemitic, communists, pro-Russian, pro-fascist, uneducated, etc. at the expense of the unity of the country. This is further proof that the ideals of western global dominance and a focus on capital over people pervades American culture.

Let’s not forget that democracy is the rule of the majority opinion, and opinion is baseless and without principle. Principles keep us from conforming to our natural tendencies for disorder and division. Therefore, as the worship of Western democracy and capitalism continues, the beast manifested from our unchecked nature will continue to persist; here and beyond. And never forget that long-standing “beliefs” are usually strongholds never dealt with and transcend into worshipping specific false saviors and extending blind trust, like sheep marching proudly to the slaughter while thinking the same God that is judging them for their utter disillusionment and prideful treason is going to save them. Sound familiar?
