Lies of the Forsaken Phase 2
And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.
Luke 4:24 (King James Version)
During Christ’s ministry on earth, His biggest opponents were the Pharisees and other religious zealots at the time. At every opportunity, they used legalism to thwart the mission of Jesus and discredit His teachings. They were so convinced that their perception of the laws and how they pertained to them, along with their genetic heritage, was what made them holy, that they truly believed they were saviors. This lie they were taught, and after years of it being embedded into their subconscious via acceptance, caused them to spend their lives teaching it and defending it.
Believing lies always leads to defending them. That is what legalism is all about. Splitting hairs, cherry-picking, gaslighting, and confusing to tear down reality are all the hallmarks of legalism in action. The accusation of legalism is an often-used tactic of the legalistic.
While in the throes of legalism leaders of societies, groups, and organizations will use handpicked scripture, laws, and quotes to break down foundational constructs of truth to incite an alternate belief to what has already been established as reality. That is not to say that using scripture and quotes to make a point is bad but twisting them to push a narrative that isn’t true is evil. This is usually done by leaving the rest of the story, passage, or conversation out to conceal contradictions to the narrative being pushed. It’s done to subvert the subtext. The subtext is what it means which is why the heretics/partisans will always use the term “that’s what the text says” to evade and negate any questioning or challenge.
The religious authorities in Israel attacked Jesus’ teachings by asking questions they thought would stump Him. That was part of their ploy to confuse the masses. A confused group of people is easier to convince, and control. It worked since they were cheering simultaneously for the release of a known criminal and the crucifixion of Christ in the criminal’s place. This was the mob being convinced by the democratic process that Jesus was the one going against the law. But He was the one who brought it. This is proof that legalism, the evolution of acceptance to accepancism, is the expression of evil through rearranged “facts” to distort the truth. That is why Jesus told the Pharisees that their father was the devil. They had become very good at distorting the truth that had been foretold by God, which is what the devil is on earth to do.
The confusion coupled with the pride aspect of legalism is perhaps what makes it so destructive. In modern times, even with historical examples to learn from, false realities are defended by the most well-known and educated Christian scholars. Consider King Solomon.
Just as Christ warned, the false prophets rise, and no one listens to the real ones. Then, the lies perpetuated by the cabal and their minions trickle down to the local level. Even as avoidable wars rage on with a decidedly miserable outcome and the threat of World War, Christians along with false patriots, globalist puppets, and obvious NWO supporters pump their fists in lockstep to support the atrocities. Not only do they support wars; against the commands to be peacemakers, not to mention in opposition to American founding principles, they dare to criticize those who speak against it.
The examples of defending a falsity and/or immorality to protect the lawless are endless. Open borders, sexual immorality, legalized drugs like marijuana, etc., are often defended by masses of people who have been “convinced” that it is compassionate or protecting the freedom to do so.
In the case of the border, for instance, the Constitution states in Article I Section 10 that no state can wage war but may act if invaded and not afforded delay. The lie perpetuated to criminalize Texas for protecting the border is that there is no invasion. The argument for open borders is one rooted in the acceptance of the lie that “borders” are cruel. The truth is that borders are necessary and leaving them open while thousands of the unknown pour in is evil.
The legalism in this case takes on many forms, and in the end, the border should’ve been secured and doesn’t need legislation, because of Article IV Section 4 of the Constitution. However, there is debate in Congress about a lack of finances caused by the House of Representatives and legislation that they won’t approve. Playing politics with border security is a perfect example of legalism. That is made blatantly obvious by the administration’s lawsuit against the Governor of Texas for doing the job that the Fed refuses to do.
Legalism leads to opinionism, National opinionism is “government by opinion” or democracy (demobracy, deathocracy). That is why Republics that fall to democracy (demobracy, deathocracy) are so litigious and partisan. Being opinionated, which is baselessness, leads to the next Lie of the Forsaken called Redirectionism: Demonized Truth.
